TUMBLR THEME HELP (Stopping captions and sources from showing on my blog)

i have the theme 'plain times' i have tried multiple tutorials but none seem to work

heres part of my html that i think needs to be edited but i dont know how :

    You can begin by making sure that every 
    {block:abc}
    has a matching 
    {/block:abc}
    Here {/block:Photo} doesn't seem to have an opening tag, and {block:Photoset} doesn't seem to have a closing tag.

    This is Tumblr's proprietary markup, not CSS; the people here probably won't be of much help to you.
