ChoGGI, that code above for the 'New' search - it does show the arrows but they don't work, i still need to hit Enter first time, after that they work, as usual. I think it might require a js as css simply displays the arrows.
ChoGGi, we've been through this so many times, i'll puke! I use the 'New' search bar - that's the setting i have in the options. I think this is what's happening - when i open the editor, the search bar is populated with the previous term and that's when i need to hit Enter to start search - the bar doesn't see that text in there. Sorry for confusion.
Stylish-Custom-0.7.9d.xpi Edit: shows next/previous findbar buttons if you have saved search text Options: wasn't showing the text for a bunch of text options
Using S-C 0.7.9d with the latest Fx14 hourly and I'm getting lots of black areas with the editor when I start to scroll. Disabling S-C and using the Stylish editor works fine. Also the Orion editor doesn't cause these black areas.
Everything worked OK yesterday. Tomorrow's nightly might have the problem.
ChoGGi, export/import as xml does not work for me. Can you explain how it suppose to work? Like, what's those 2 'Browse' fields about? What's the correct file name should be - should it include .xml or not?... I don't know, i tried many different things but nothing seems to work. I see a file exported but can't open it and can't Import it in another profile.

let me know if it persists after you update it next

it doesn't add .xml the top one is if you export as a group, the bottom is if you want separate files, i'm going to change it so the bottom one is disabled when group is checked
edit: i should also add a warning, but if you import the xml file in another ff profile with different ids and you also choose to overwrite styles, then it'll overwrite any styles that share the same id
Well, i don't have to worry about that, it doesn't do a thing here. There's a box with a Browse button but i don't understand where i suppose to browse to! I don't understand if i have to name the file teststyles.xml ot teststyles. I tried both ways but couldn't import either one. I'm not concerned about overwriting 'cause i was trying to import into an empty new profile with no styles. What's this part: sc_export_example.xml ? Did you name it so or is this name given by the export process? Could you just lay out step by step for me here? I was never able to use this 'cause it has never worked for me. It's very confusing. Oh, and yes, i'm talking about a group.
EDIT: what does it mean: Select a file to use? I can understand it for Import but not Export. I'm creating a file not reusing it. Also the top field should have a label like Name:
Regarding the black areas in the S-C editor. When I turn Aero off in W7 I no longer have black areas in the editor. I'm using the latest hourly but I am sure the next Nightly will have the problem.
It appears that only when using Stylish in Standalone mode do I have this problem. It also affects Stylish even when S-C is disabled. The Sidebar, Add-ons, and Info option all work correctly. Perhaps it's a Stylish problem and not S-C??
ChoGGI, what you need to do is name those export file like other exts. do when exporting setting, for instance. Something like SCexport010112.xml (or even SC010112.xml). I see the file 0- it has styles in it but when i go to Import and navigate to that folder, it says the folder is empty! It doesn't see the file even if i rename it to add the .xml part. This whole process just doesn't work for me and is very confusing. I really often need to use it (testing many profiles) - thus asked to add - but was never able to, end up switching sqlite file and going through the routine of uninstalling unneeded styles or saving individually selected in a folder and then installing one by one. Maybe you could find a chance to look into it and re-do/fix it to work? TIA!

Yeah, I don't think it's S-C or even Stylish, for that matter. I'm getting black areas on some web-sites, as well, while scrolling with the latest Nightly.
I find that if you use the editor then even if I exit the editor and only have the standalone menu showing I get blackness with other add-ons. These seem to be add-ons on my toolbar with dropdown menus.
I haven't seen any black areas on websites. Also once you get black areas in the editor if you move your cursor out of the editor box everything comes back to normal after about 4 seconds.
I've seen this before and posted about it somewhere in one of those 'new forum blah...' threads which, of course, i will not be able to find now and i don't remember what it was. I do remember how annoying it was, if it helps I didn't see this for a while now though. Doesn't it have something to do with stickies or something like that? Don't remember. Next time you see it (the thread), bookmark it. I bookmark everything i think i might need sometime later 'cause searching this threads is still a nightmare. I rarely find what i'm looking for. I don't get the logic here and can't figure their order when they show in searches, etc., etc., etc. ....
I only have two discussions bookmarked - this one and one about substituting background images - so maybe bookmarking it screwed it up. Anyway, I've been able to see it for 7 hours since I posted so maybe that fixed it.
Great, that solves the mystery .... even though it would seem it should be backwards, no? Since it's a sticky, i mean, shouldn't it be at the top no matter what?
^ see how the file name Fx12 is twice there? For some reason, i get this double thing no matter what file i choose. Something isn't right there. Take a look? TIA!

if you highlight "#example" and press the button it'll change it to [id="example"] (or back the other way)
Time to have a bit of fun. :D

edit:
hmm, well you can't click them till you enter some text, by which time the buttons'll show up without needing the css
you don't need to press enter to search unless your using the old search, new search should be find as you type...

Thanks, ChoGGi!
I can't figure this one, am i putting it wrong?
-moz-appearance: -moz-win-glass !important; \nbackground: none !important;
It doesn't roll to another line for me, it pasts that whole line. Do i need space before slash or not? I tried both ways and none works.
NM! Gotcha! Great! Thanks!
Thank you, old one is much better for me. Better to call Case-sensitive and Case-insensitive instead of new/old.

Neh! Forget it! It's too confusing.
I did a regression check and the problem appears to be something within this changeset: http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?changeset=638769f8ec54

Fx Issue, IMO.
It doesn't to seem to be related to any Greasemonkey script, style or Adblock. It happens in Firefox 3 and Pale Moon 11.
Even more odd - now that I have posted this message it's visible again.

When I'm not logged in it appears at the top of the first page. Probably something to do with the bookmark. I figured out what it does, not why.
