  I have always use App MozBackup and always have it backup the FX profile file stylish.sqlite, then I would use App MozBackup to restore it in a new Fx profile folder on my new Fx installations.
  
  Walla, you then have your all your Stylish userstyles on your new Fx installation... :D

  Or Stylish-Custom - Options/Export as xml & Import as xml ... or- selected, or all ... very handy option i use whenever i make changes to styles. Save to a flash drive, take it along, install what you want.

  A better solution would be the ability to store and read stylish.sqlite on a server.
  
  I don't know if that's a shortcoming of Firefox or the extension.
