  • Thanks, syntax highlighting works now.

However there's a new bug, selecting some text and right clicking, Cut is always disabled, the same for Paste. However Ctrl+x and Ctrl+v work as expected.
  • In which version of Firefox?
  • Up-to-date Firefox nightly.

Where did the option to wrap the text go while in the editing box? This option is absolutely necessary with long lines of code!
  • Wrapping lines doesn't work (yet?) in Orion (the new source editor with the syntax highlighting and other fancy stuff in Firefox nightly builds).

So the "wrap lines" option in Stylish only appears if you're using the old plain textarea editor; you can set which editor Stylish uses from about:config, extensions.stylish.editor:
0 - use the Orion editor
1 - (or any number other than 0) use the plain textarea editor
  • thanks orion is working again in nightly versions (+13) but there is a problem, when I click "preview" it doen't do anything.
    please check that out
  • Sorry sorry sorry, I didn't realise that was stylish custom
    Sorry again
  • how to delete this themes? i want old facebook T^T

    Jason,

I'm on the latest Win32 20120225 Fx Nightly 13.0a1 using the latest Stylish 1.2.6 beta on WinXP. The problem mentioned below may also occur on previous Fx and Stylish versions(Not Tested).

    With Stylish about:config preferences:

    extensions.stylish.manageView; set to 1

    extensions.stylish.editor; set to 1

When having the Stylish editor dialog window(Not maximized) and re-sized to fit in the center of screen(Not filling entire window) the Stylish editor text input box(the box the userstyle code is placed) it reduces it height when you adjust the Stylish editor dialog window height, so the Stylish find-bar and Stylish buttons(Save, Preview,Cancel) can still be visible, which is good and expected.
    Screenshot:
    image

A problem happens if I select the Stylish Preview button and the userstyle has a lot of line code errors the Stylish editor text input box(the box the userstyle code is placed) no longer reduces it height when you adjust the Stylish editor dialog window height causing the Stylish find-bar and Line code errors and Stylish buttons(Save, Preview,Cancel) not to be visible.
    Screenshot:
    image

Even making the Stylish editor dialog window(Not maximized) and re-sizing it height to fit in the entire height of my screen while maintaining it's same width(75% of non wide-screen monitor) doesn't allow me see all Line code errors or Stylish buttons(Save, Preview,Cancel).
    Screenshot:

So, Jason is there any way you can make the Stylish editor text input box(the box the userstyle code is placed) reduce it's height when there are a lot or a set number of Line code errors detected when the Stylish editor dialog window(is Not maximized) and is re-sized to fit in the center of screen(While Not filling entire window)?

Note: In that situation as it is now the only way to see all the Stylish find-bar and Line code errors and Stylish buttons(Save, Preview,Cancel) is when the Stylish editor dialog window is in a Maximized window state.

I was previewing and trying to update userstyle:
    http://userstyles.org/styles/36762/addons-manager-steel-fx-4
Due to Bug 693510 - drop support for prefixes from border-radius* and box-shadow, which has currently landed on the latest Fx Nightly builds.

Also, Screenshots above were reduced in size prior to attaching to above post...

    Jason, Here's yet another problem....

Also, on the latest Win32 20120225 Fx Nightly 13.0a1(New Fx profile) with using either the latest Stylish 1.2.5 or 1.2.6 beta on WinXP . The problem mentioned below doesn't occur on latest Fx 11 beta or Fx 12 Aurora builds.

    With Stylish about:config preferences:

    extensions.stylish.manageView; set to 1

    extensions.stylish.editor; set to 1

When editing an userstyle the Stylish editor text input box(the box the userstyle code is placed) scroll-bar no longer allows you drag it's scroll button to a different scroll position. :-/

^^ Although I use Fx 11 at the moment and the scroll-bar button is working in that version as mentioned, I am using Thunderbird 13.0a1 and have the same problem as rob64rock regardless of setting the prefs to 0 or 1.

Stylish 1.2.4 does the same thing as well.

@rob64rock, your first problem sounds like this one.

Thanks banthaz, I posted that link on Bug 717858:

Can anyone confirm the scroll-bar issue? Mentioned above:

  • I see the same scrollbar issue.

Confirmed, Rob. That has been bugging me for quite some time as I Style a lot of sites and the Stylish code gets really, really long. When using extensions.stylish.editor set to 0, the scroller works fine while dragging.

  • Were there any locale changes in 1.2.6, ie. did all the locales require updating? Anyhow, it seems like the sv-SE locale has rolled back into the one I complained about in 1.2.5b2. PLEASE change back to my version (see my reasoning). I'll update if needed!
  • I had uploaded to Babelzilla and then redownloaded all the locales again. Maybe someone updated the translation there?
  • I see. Perhaps the original translator put back his/her version, which he/she seems to think is better. I better get in touch with this person - do you know how?
  • The scrollbar issue when using the textarea editor is fixed with latest nightly builds: c.f. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=728581

I tested and it's indeed fixed here.
