would it be possible to modify this style so that it was compatible with the Firefox extension Video Surf Videos at a Glance? this style succeeds in making the text white but it doesn't change the background of the summaries the extension makes, so the text is unreadable.

besides that i love this style!

    I think it'd be better to just make a separate style that changes the summary background to black (transparent actually). This seems to work for me:

  background: transparent !important;
}
