It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
Posted By: Wai WaiBut the description says it doesn't seem to play nicely with ChoGGi's version of Stylish, in that the restore feature doesn't work.Hmm... Could ChoGGi take a look and see why?
It appears you insert the custom entries in the middle of it, and "Manage styles..." is being pushed to the top.
Posted By: ChoGGiDisable/restore styles combinedmight be a bit annoying to do, so i'll add it to the todo.
Disable/restore styles combined
Posted By: ChoGGiyou'd prefer if i move the custom stylish menuitems above manage for the statusbar icon?
Posted By: ChoGGii'll see about the new dialog later, but i'm not going to be sorting it, too annoying to do
Posted By: Wai WaiSnapshot enabled styles status
After all, the space in Stylish context menu is not as precious as context menu (in content area). If it's difficult, feel free to put it in lower priority.By now, grey out "restore styles" when there is nothing to restore.
About "manage style...", it may not matter much when you allow single click on your icon to manage style.
I have one question.Currently I see "Stylish icon" on toolbar and "Stylish icon" on statusbar share the same menu. There is a problem. We may want to put the least used item to the further distance, while keeping the frequently used item as close as possible.Stylish toolbar menu: higher is betterStylish statusbar menu: lower is better
Posted By: Wai Wai2. Create a separate icon for it. (perhaps Stylish-custom without the arrow button)Don't make a wide icon, or I couldn't put it in the horizontal panel.
Posted By: makondoYou know, i don't think hiding Restore from the menu was such a great idea. Because now one might wonder - if i disable how do i enable them? ... Hehe. It was all done and done well. Don't try too hard to 'improve' what is already just right. I'm OK either way but the new menu looks like it's missing an item, too obviously.
Posted By: ChoGGiSnapshot enabled styles statussounds like the same thing as disable/restore rules? (well other than selective, but that goes in annoying to do)
Snapshot enabled styles status
Posted By: ChoGGii'll add right-clicking to open manage to the s-c icons
Posted By: makondoBecause now one might wonder - if i disable how do i enable them?
Posted By: IzzyI was waiting for makondo's default answer: "Use CustomButtons² plugin, there also is a second button for Stylish in AIOS"... Looks like too much traffic in the past few hours, so he missed it
Posted By: Izzy... so he missed it
Posted By: Wai WaiThat's not the same. The disable rules are to turn off all styles completely. It only records what styles are enabled without actually turning them off-- a snapshot only.
Does it make more sense if it's left click to open window, right click to call menu?It seems to be what mouse usually does. Left click for action, right click for menu.
Posted By: makondoHi Izzy, was wondering when you'd show up!
the fact that you can cut on exts. count is well worthy to me. I have over 60 and use most of them daily (used one even w/in this post ;-)!
A snapshot stalled my Fx for close to 2 min.! Don't think i'll be shooting often ;-)
Posted By: ChoGGihow about another toolbar icon (left for standalone, right for sidebar, and middle for addons)?
Posted By: makondoDon't think i'll be shooting often ;-)
Posted By: makondoCan you make the original button ( you call it Stylish-Custom icon ^ ) work like the new one does - 1 left click opens manager in the sidebar (as is now) but the second Lclick closes it? I don't see a need for 2 buttons.
Posted By: ChoGGiyou want the left click to close it if it's already opened? isn't focusing on it better?
Posted By: Wai WaiI usually stick with one only.If I like it to display in the sidebar, I will stay with it.I won't switch to sidebar on day one, switch to addon on day two, and so on.Feel free to implement if you or others want it.
clicking the "close" button is faster than going to click the icon to close it.
Add the enable checkbox in the stylish editor
Show no of total / enabled / disabled styles
Posted By: ChoGGiI won't switch to sidebar on day one, switch to addon on day two, and so on.already added to 0.2.7
I won't switch to sidebar on day one, switch to addon on day two, and so on.
Posted By: ChoGGiseems kind of useless to add those to the export dialog, but i will see about adding them to manageit might add a bit to the time it takes to open it, so maybe i'll add them to im/export :)
Posted By: Wai WaiI'm going to test it later (I'm on the road right now).Let's see how I perform.
Posted By: makondoAnd now to the screenshot....
Posted By: makondoHow does it work? The tooltip says ",,,, which you can then restore"
Posted By: makondoDoes it restore the last snap when Restore is clicked?
Customize the tag separator
ChoGGi, just curious, is it difficult to create a new table with columns of info (i.e. Name / Type / Tag)?
What should I do to know the element names of those popups/menus?
Posted By: ChoGGipopulating a table is fairly simple
Posted By: ChoGGiit doesn't have an id just a class .tabs-alltabs-button, you can use search>attr in domiwhen you click on something in domi it gets highlighted in red so it isn't hard to find your way there (also view>show anon content)
Thanks. I look forward to it in the next release. ;)
This style is no longer working. I'm trying to port it to Firefox 3.
.tabs-alltabs-button menuitem[label="(Untitled)"] *,
It won't be highlighted in red because you can't keep that tabbar menu on while using the microscope to inspect that element.
Posted By: ChoGGi ... i'll see what i can do, but don't hold your breath (might be a bit beyond my js skills)...
