oh it's working fine, just trying to use an am3 in an am2 board whose bios has no support for it (the clock speed is stuck at 800Mhz instead of 3.2Ghz)
@Izzy just tried ff 3 on kubuntu-9.04-desktop-amd64 no extra menuitems for me maybe your stylish is using the old stylishxul mod i did, that adds menuitems too
@ChoGGi: You are right - I still had the customized 1.0.1 in there. Just "updated" that with Jasons original, and the duplicate entries disappeared.
But can you tell me why it needs two icons in the status bar? Couldn't the second just be included in the original? At least optional, to save some space down there?
just a little update, i'm working on exporting styles so far i have a list of styles with checkboxes. i'm thinking separate css files for each style, unless someone has a better idea
edit: i have it exporting files to the desktop, now i just need to figure out how to choose a custom path :)
ChoGGi: Hope you don't mind a feature request: since np doesn't look likely to add style(s) import/export any time soon, would you be willing to take it on? I know your focus is about entirely on improving the inline editing experience, but it'd be a big help to me and other people...
Stylish-Custom-0.1.3.xpi new icon for edit styles dialog added export styles to stylish-custom menu added an update all button to manage window you need to close then reopen the manage window to see changes (or save a style)
OK, it's not working? 1. Styles show in a weird order. Would be nice if they'd be sorted just like they're in the sidebar/window. 2. Checkboxes to select styles would be nice. 3. Clicking 'Save' button does nothing. Path selected, OK and no file in the location.
Stylish-Custom-0.1.5.xpi option to have export/import styles on stylish or custom menu option to have disable/enable rules on stylish or custom menu saves export/import paths stuck it on amo
1. Styles show in a weird order. Would be nice if they'd be sorted just like they're in the sidebar/window.
yeah sorting turned out to be more annoying then i would've assumed, so another version for that 2. it should have an icon for checked styles 3. i changed it a bit for 0.1.5 so see if it works now, if not any error msgs in console and i believe you use windows xp with ff3.0.10?
AWESOME!... Exported! Apparently, you need to click in the Export column on the line for every style you want to export and then an icon shows up. Now we need a Save All/Import All button too (130 clicks! - need a massage now...)! BTW, i didn't try Import yet. Finally!!! after 2 years of begging ... I think i'm gonna party tonight ... THANKS CHoGGi!
OK. Did the Import. Bad news - imported 22 styles of which only a few applied. Apparently, the ones with (large URI)images did not import properly. The strings are cut off. Found a style which was cut off 1/3 down like this: blah { color: red !i The saved styles look all right though - that's good news. Now, a couple of things: 1. Select All - thank you, really needed. 2. It's not clear what to do when importing. I think it'd be better if the Save button would read Import (and the Save button - Export).
That's it for now. I'm still grateful to you and doing a 'happy dance' ;-)
A bit more. 3. How about instead of stripes in the E/I window, highlight the enabled styles? And, what's the url for that window? so that i can - but of course! - style it my way ;-) And, what happens if you save a location? Let's say you save them again to the same location - will the previous styles be overwritten or added in that folder (which means there will be doubles, triples ...)?
hmm i only tried with my icon style (250KB) and a few smaller ones, nothing with big base64 images (i assume that's what you meant by large uri) that said nothing is being changed so it shouldn't make a difference, but i haven't really figured out nsifile so maybe it is :)
i'll go try some out, could you post a link to some styles that it happens with also if you only import one of those cutoff styles does it work?
3. How about instead of stripes in the E/I window, highlight the enabled styles?
i'll see about something pretty

it'll only change the location if that checkbox is checked
edit: oops should have checked my imported icon style a bit closer, i'll see what i can do edit2: looks like nsIConverterInputStream has a limit of 8192, i guess 10 MB should be enough for most styles?
OK, let me try again ;-) 3. I did bring the export window up in DOMi but couldn't figure anything else (like no stripes). 4. The location - what i mean is do the styles get replaced or added to that folder? Let's say i exported 3 styles to a folder. Later on, i export 6 styles, 3 of which are the same styles i already have in that folder. What happens in this case? Will windows pop the usual 'replace?' dialog or will 6 styles be added to those 3 (in which case i will have 3 dupes)? Also, i didn't understand your answer, sorry. I assume if the Save checkbox is checked, the location is saved and the next time you export styles, they'll be saved in the same location. Am i off? 'cause this didn't happen and i had to inter a location again. So, i really don't get the 'Save' checkbox. 5. My MoZine - Concrete is one of those that didn't import fully. I was thinking. It might help if i sort them by type to separate folders appropriately named, let's say. Then export/import by type in/from those folders. I have 132 styles here + about 50+ on USO that i'd like to install and save here. That's close to 200 styles most of which are large. I'm pretty sure Fx will chock on it. I'll try my idea of 'batch importing', i think it will work. However, some warning is needed so that people don't get panicky. Another way would be importing by a letter (that is when/if you ever get it sorted by name ;-).
EDIT: just saw your edit. My stylish.sqlite is 1 645 568 (1.57MB) - 132 styles

you can change it in the options dialog
EDIT: Sorry, CHoGGi, ... didn't reload the tab before posting ;-)
edit: i have it exporting files to the desktop, now i just need to figure out how to choose a custom path :)
new icon for edit styles dialog
added export styles to stylish-custom menu
added an update all button to manage window
you need to close then reopen the manage window to see changes (or save a style)
added import styles to stylish-custom menu
thnx for effort though :)
i wish i could be as excited as Izzy there ^ but i can't find where the Import/Export thing is.
TIA!
EDIT: NM! - Found it! It's in the icon menu! testing right now... BB.

Off to get 0.1.5, hold on (i'll try import then too, need a new profile first)
