Fx2: How to Move Vertical Scrollbars in Webpages to Left?

I am starting to browse with Fx2 using a pen, and am eager to move vertical scrollbars for webpages to the left. (Most important are the scrollbars for the webpage itself. Not as important are text-box scrollbars for example, though they would be helpful also.)

    In about:config, create a new integer called "layout.scrollbar.side" with a value of 3. I tried it and it didn't work, but maybe you'll have better luck.

    Thank you for the link & info. Unfortunately, I didn't have better luck :-( . After reading the mozillazine webpage, for good luck I also tried values 2 - 5 (closing/restarting Fx between each), but same (lack of) result.

    Is there anyway to move the vertical scrollbar just using Stylish?

    Last time I tried, Firefox2 scrollbars wouldn't even accept background colors from stylish.

    layout.scrollbar.side only seems to work on ff3
    i tried messing around with css but no luck
