[HELP] hiding elements

edited January 2008 in Stylish
Hello. I would hide the tables of this site:

http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/

which contain links to articles, news and downloads. But I don't want to hide the main table of the forum. How can I do?

    also removed that big list of people online at the bottom
    @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); @-moz-document domain("hwupgrade.it"){ /*top table*/ #pagenav_menu+table, /*bottom tables*/ .tborder+script+script+br+table, .tborder+script+script+br+table+br+.tborder, #inlinemodform+br+table+br+table, br+.smallfont+br+table+br+table, /*people online*/ .tborder+script+script+br+table+br+.tborder+br+table {display:none!important} }

    Thank you! Now I understand what I wrong.

    Anyway I use also Adblock Plus, so I think it's better to use these filters with it:

    /intellitxt\.com\// /^.{7}adserver\.hwupgrade\.it\/banmanpro\//

    and use only these CSS rules:

    @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); @-moz-document url-prefix("http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/") { table+br+.tborder, table[width="956"] { display:none !important } }

    CSS rules are less restrictive than yours, but they seem to not block useful elements.
    Thank you again. If you agree I'll post this simple but useful style :-)

    fine with me but you should change
    @-moz-document url-prefix("http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/") {
    to
    @-moz-document url-prefix("http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/"),url-prefix("http://hwupgrade.it/forum/"){

    Well, I think this is the final version:

    @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); @-moz-document url-prefix("http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/"), \ url-prefix("http://hwupgrade.it/forum/") { table+br+.tborder, div+.tborder, table[width="956"] { display:none !important; } table[width="982"] { width:100% !important; } body, .page { background: #E7E9EB !important; } .panelsurround>div:first-child { text-align:left !important; } }

    I added the site rule without www as you suggested, added another hiding rule for topic pages, set the main table to width 100%, aligned the input for new posts to the left and set the background colour to a light sky-blue colour.
