Hello! Suddenly my Firefox ver.61 installation complained on the Stylish v3.1.1 addon that it can cause severe problems with stability and/or security of the browser, and recommended to switch the extension off. Any ideas why so?
I went on addons page, and there was the same warning at the stylish addon. I clicked on the "more information" link which brought me to the root of the problem: https://blocked.cdn.mozilla.net/i19.html
Looks like the addon Devs must contact the Mozilla team to solve this situation.
Firefox 56.0.2 deleted Stylish - I have tweaked some styles to my personal tastes and would love to find where the deleted styles went to import them into StylUS until StylISH gets back on its feet. Any ideas where I can find these critters? (I searched my drive for a keyword in the title of one of them - no relevant results)
Unless something changed, Mozilla issued a "soft block" on Stylish so it should be only disabled and not removed, and it should be possible to re-enable it on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a) * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons * type or paste '''about:addons''' in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.
Then scan down the right side for grayed out (disabled) extensions, which may be clustered at the bottom.

Nope... POOFed completely (not my first rodeo w/ disable/enable feature) [see screenshot attached]
I am ashamed. Yep, it's there. I suppose that I am used to DISabling and leaving the window open (doesn't jump around but stays put) Thanx.
The "More information" page > https://blocked.cdn.mozilla.net/i1900.html < says " The problematic add-on or plugin will be automatically disabled and no longer usable. " I guess this means that FF will continue to DISABLE it if I enable it again?? (I need to export my customized styles)

Stylish contains severe analytics enabled by default.
Switch to Stylus, it's a well-developed opensource fork. You can export and import your old styles.

If you need it back, I'm sure someone can scrounge up the xpi file, license permitting.
According to a cached copy of the versions page on Google, the license is GPLv3 so the XPI file can be freely redistributed if needed. https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:-m3mewAK04IJ:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish/versions/+license&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-b-1-ab
I'll post a copy of version 3.0.1 here in a few minutes: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/temp/Stylish301Fx/
