[Solved] Example URL does not match regexp URL in code

edited March 2018 in userstyles.org Firefox
I'm getting this error when updating my userstyle: Example url does not match the sites specified in the code.

My regexp: @-moz-document regexp("(https?):\\/\\/(?!forums)\\w+\\.gta5-mods\\.com.+")
This regexp allows for all subdomains of gta5-mods.com except for "forums."

My Example URL: https://www.gta5-mods.com

My full CSS code: https://github.com/Jitnaught/GTA5ModsDarkTheme/blob/master/style.css

Would anyone know why userstyles.org thinks the example URL does not match? I tried to leave the example URL empty but I get this error message: Example url must be provided; could not determine what site this affects. I already tried to contact userstyles.org directly by email about this but they told me to ask here.

  • .+ in the end requires something to be present after .com but your example URL ends on .com. Try replacing .+ with .*. BTW there's no need to escape / as \\/ because CSS is not JavaScript.

That helped, thank you. Case closed :)
