Integrated style editor doesn't recognize CSS variables (Chrome)

As stated in the title, the editor doesn't recognize the definition or use of CSS variables; --variable-name-here results in an invalid token highlight on the first dash, and var(variable-name-here generally results in "expected [whatever]" warnings. As you can imagine, this makes development of styles using variables kind of annoying.

    4.) CodeMirror and CSSLint have been updated to their latest versions, respectively. Many false positive editor warnings and errors have been improved via the update, and we've added a few extra exceptions for some other common false positives.
