Update about Userstyles new design release

It was... Have a look at the active fork https://github.com/openstyles/stylus

What's the difference between Stylish and Stylus?

I now only know that Stylus is based on an earlier version of Stylish !

Its hard to say now. But the biggest thing is its active and open to suggestions. End user wise, is is free from the tracking Stylish has added, and performance is a high priority for the devs.
https://github.com/openstyles/stylus/commits/master is a good place to start

Oh and it works on FireFox
  • More info here:

It works, is performant and actively developed, has nice additional features (especially if you are writing styles by yourself), is opensource and it doesn't spy.

Go to your FireFox profile folder (...AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles), then into storage > default. Remove or move all folders containing a URL (if your FireFox is open, restart it), I have tried this and it worked for me.

    Hope this helps :)
  • is there any alternative to the userstyles.org website?

Someone brought up that there is a clone website that copies styles from userstyles, and I have even found my own stuff there: http://freestyler.ws I know it's not really an alternative, but I hope we will get one soon! >_<

I am not against having my styles used, in a way I hope that other websites compete more or out perform userstyles, so someone can do better than what we currently have... :(
You said it. I listened. Shouldve said it sooner. Tried it cause you said and have been very happy! Shouldve said it sooner. With stylus going out of fashion and into bizarro world without much support and love and its ugly interface and abandoning all its former styles. I like Free styles and its great. Better than Styles. Its smoother and has more features and probably easier to edit. Always working and giving suggestions. I like it and recommend it. Thanks a lot for recommending it.
