Change embedded fonts

I only want to change something simple.
I normally change Arial to Tahoma. But I noticed that there are some websites that use embedded fonts, even when I explicitly change them using the same code, the font is not changed. Help me change the font.

This is the code I normally use to change Arial to Tahoma.
@font-face { font-family: 'Arial'; src: local('Tahoma'); }

I want something to change Roboto embedded on the web to Tahoma, but this one doesn't work:
@font-face { font-family: 'Roboto'; src: local('Tahoma'); }

When I use the view page source option, the font is named "Roboto", nothing else. Can only Stylish change the fonts that are on my computer already, not also embedded fonts?

Thanks in advance.

  • You might need to match certain other style properties in order to replace the downloadable font. Check the site's style sheet for its @font-face rules and try just swapping the url() part to local() while retaining the other details.

    I couldn't understand what to do. I made this and it didn't work:
    @font-face { font-family: 'Roboto'; src: url('Tahoma');

    UPDATE: After endlessly testing, I had to do that:
    @font-face { font-family: 'Roboto'; font-weight: 300; src: local('Tahoma'); }
