OK then. How about the second issue - Findbar Clear is unchecked but shows, if you check it, the additional icon shows (i'm guessing, the image of your editor icons), see my pic
Should be 52.0.1 and I haven't modified it lately. Will be going thru all the addon xpi's on my site and list them with their version numbers as well.
Edit: Renamed all the xpi's on my site that are Waterfox compatible like so, stylish-editor2-wf-52.0.1.xpi, and for Pale Moon compatibility, custom-toolbars-plus-pm-52.3.6.xpi. Supporting multiple browsers gets to be a pain after a while. Hopefully Alex, provider of Waterfox, will find the support to launch their own separate browser, maintaining xul, instead of forking Firefox. I would gladly contribute my efforts for such a move. I also noticed that Firefox market shares has plummeted to 6.3%, not long before it's listed with Netscape.
Sonny, let me check PM again (didn't like it when tried earlier, seemed like a going nowhere project back then, maybe it has changed now?). I'm thinking maybe then you won't need to keep WF versions updated?
Yeah, Fx is on its last breaths. (Almost)All the good guys who were there from the beginning left, this new guys probably came from Coo. I suspected this might happen when they started get funding/help from Goo a few years back. Nothing good comes from that cloaca, they're killing everything they touch.
I've noticed you have Stylish² on your site. Is it the one you modified already? Mine says 51.0.1.
Stylish² is just a fork of Stylish add-on with some amendments to support my Stylish Custom² and Stylish Editor² add-ons, and probably the same as 51.0.1. Back then, I was just changing the version numbers to correspond to that of the browsers. I like Waterfox better, but until it is confirmed that they will continue with xul after Firefox transitions to WebExt, I maintain Pale Moon as my xul backup browser, since they are not dependent on Firefox.
I installed Stylish² to keep it all play in unison. It's 52.0.1. I like WF too. Have you tried contacting Alex to offer help? If he follows Fx57 ... well, you know, it's PM for me too.
Thanks, interesting. "But the developers plans don't end there. He plans to get funding for a startup to fork the last working version of Firefox with XUL/XPCOM to create a new browser out of it...." ... hmm ... we'll see. W/out the ability to change browser look and use things like CB, i might as well just use the Edge and forget it all.
Restore down reduces the height of the editor by approx. 25% for every click of the button, so you can view behind it. Restore window brings the editor back to original size.
Oh, i remember now, i've asked this before. I never use it 'cause it creates a chaos here. Rdown stretches the editor to the monitor width at the bottom of the screen and lows the top border with every click while the full screen width remains. Rwindow blows editor to full screen no matter what size it was before or when originally opened. It's OK, i have no use for it but thanks!
Aha! Another one?! So,it's not my styles or exts., it's something else. Sonny, are you sure you're using your own Stylish? Mine is 52.0.1 and there's no Write style ... menuitem. Since this is not about editor (i don't think it is), please let's continue in the SCA thread, thanks!
Through trial and error, I found out that Stylish Custom² has to be installed in addition to Stylish² to get missing basic menu items such as “Write style for this domain”. Unfortunately, this extra addon (not required in the past) ruins status bar in height with a new large icon (where’s small one?), let alone when you click upon two columns of carnival garlands pop up (i.e. each item appeals to the user in the same loud voice by using intense icons).
If you have Stylish add-on installed, you can delete it. Stylish² contains all the elements of Stylish plus added functions to interact with Stylish Custom² and Stylish Editor². You can see if that helps any. In actuality, those three add-ons where developed for specific users, though anyone can download them from my site.
Nope, not at all. I am telling you that Stylish² is Stylish with added code to support Stylish Custom² and Stylish Editor². Turn off/on all styles is the first menuitem. See pic.

Renamed SEM to Stylish Editor²
anything new there lately that i might need to reinstall? Mine is 51.0.1

Plans for Waterfox: https://www.ghacks.net/2017/03/13/waterfox-dev-has-big-plans-for-the-browser/

you might want to edit the link in the first post, it still points to dropbox 404.
what's 'Restore down' button is about? And 'Restore Window'? Sorry, i don't remember.
It was a quick and handy way to deal with visually annoying site.

read the other thread, might help.

Comparison: Stylish vs Stylish²
Stylish² lacks the following basic controls
Stylish got basic controls WITHOUT additional Custom addon.
Stylish² REQUIRES Custom² addon to have basic controls (this is how Stylish² looks alone).
