    No, i'm OK. I think my last post on CB forum was when CB ext. broke. The button works fine. Thanks anyway!

    Well, if interested, I added the browser search clear button into my addon, with option to show/hide and to select image: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/srazzano/Site_Favicon/master/sitefav.xpi
    Also made some minor upgrades to enhance performance.
  • Waterfox
    Aaahh, that's nice! (you didn't think i'll skip it if i see: "made some minor upgrades to enhance performance', did you?!).

    I've been trying to consolidate CB buttons into addons that have similar functions and avoid the redundancy.
  • Waterfox
    Sonny,
    can you tell me if CB forum tab favicon is changed through some button or ext.? I can't figure it out. I don't think it's my style (don't see it in DOMi), i think i've changed it in one of your creations but can't figure which one ... a CB? an ext.? ...image

    Sonny,
    @CB, clicking Edit button opens the editor minimized to the taskbar and no way to do anything but close it. Had this before but don't remember now what i had to do then to fix it.

    Actually, i think it might not be minimized but off screen, remember had this issue? Checked in a clean profile and while i can see the editor, it's mostly off the screen in the bottom right corner somewhere. Had to grab by the edge and pull it into my view. So, i'm pretty sure it's off the view in my main profile and no way to edit a button.
    I remember you told me to do something and it fixed it for a while. Can't find where we talked about it though ...

    Try resetting this pref to default in your about:config > extensions.stylish.editorWindowPersist
    This is a bug in Stylish, happens when Stylish is closed while the editor is minimized. I created a pref toggler for myself that addresses that issue.
  • Waterfox
    Ummm, that's not Stylish, that's CB editor.
  • Waterfox
    What is your CB addon name and version?
  • edited June 2017 Waterfox
    5.8.9.3, CB³ from your site
  • Waterfox
    OK, i've managed to get the editor for now but don't know how long this will last this time. I had to Rclick the editor icon in the taskbar/Maximize, it opened the editor i=maximized and i resized it. Closed, re-opened, working ... for now.
  • edited June 2017 Waterfox
    Yes.
    But as i said, it seems to work for now. Just like with previous version(s), it will probably break again at some point. It must depend on something for this to happen. Anyway, forget it for now, if i remember the 'trick' that fixed it, i'll use it (IF i can remember which thread this stuff it! I think i'll start 'your' thread in CB forum...
    Just did. GO to CB/General)
  • Waterfox
    Sonny,
    i think - might be wrong - we used to be able to copy an ext. version in addons manager (fix)? No? Is it possible to make it so that we can copy version numbers? If not directly from the category, maybe from an addon page (detail view - #detail-name-container)?
  • edited August 2017 Waterfox
    Can do. From the Add-ons Manager, clicking on the version number will copy it to the clipboard, but will need your copy of Addon Manager Fix xpi to add the code. My version is heavily modified.
  • edited August 2017 Waterfox
    Great! Actually, i'm using 52.0.7 from your site.
  • edited August 2017 Waterfox
    https://sonco.synthasite.com/addon-manager-fix.php 52.0.8 Also left 52.0.7 intact.
  • Waterfox
    Great! Thank you very much! I have Ditto and can see what's copied but for those who don't see the clipboard, you might want to add some confirmation (for a few seconds, please image ).
  • edited August 2017 Waterfox
    Done. Updated above link 52.0.8, set alert for 4 sec delay and center screen (both easily adjustable).
  • Waterfox
    Good,thanks!

    Sonny,
    on dropbox site, let's say 'public' page (i think the link should work, else, you'll need to sign in), there's a small blue logo in the upper left corner. It's a svg and i can't get rid of it, i'm replacing the logo but this is the only one i just can't hide. I see my new logo and the blue original next to it:

    image

    It used to be all right but they've changed some code and now i'm stuck with this. See how i try to get rid of it? None of it works:

    .maestro-nav__logo,
    .maestro-nav__panel > A > svg,
    .maestro-nav__panel > A > svg > path
    { visibility: hidden !important;
    display: none !important;
    opacity: 0 !important;
    color: transparent !important;
    fill: transparent !important;
    -moz-appearance: none !important; }

    Any ideas? TIA!

    I got rid of Dropbox when they changed their format a while back and no longer use it. I host my images on GitHub and exts/scripts on my site.
  • Waterfox
    Oh, OK then, i guess i'll have to live with it. I rarely open the site anyway, using local folder.
  • edited August 2017 Waterfox
    Looking at dropbox code, try this to remove image:

    #maestro-nav .maestro-nav__home-button {display: none !important;}
  • Waterfox
    No, i tried that too, it hides the whole thing, my image included. I looked at their code and used whatever - related might be - from their code (thus my code above0, nothing works!
  • edited August 2017 Waterfox
    Then you will need something like this:

    Base64 image for background is the GitHub logo.

    .maestro-nav__home-button {display: none !important;}

    .maestro-nav__panel {
    background: url("data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAACAAAAAgCAYAAABzenr0AAAB5ElEQVR42s2XvU7DMBDHbYkJJiQ6MPECdGoEL4BAjEg8QBlIB2b6DsDMQBngAZAYEREvAEqn8gQMMMAKC0jhXOeM45xjJ00a/tKlqdze/Xz+OnNWRmG8Ds9dsC2wLlgnbXkHm4A9gN2xUfDs65J7BF2E5xHYaSlYxoZg5wDzVR0gjPvwvCoZ2NQBQFyXA5C9vgXbnjE4KgLbo7KRBwjjFS\

    width: 32px !important;
    }

    Or

    .maestro-nav__home-button {visibility: collapse !important;}

    .maestro-nav__home-button::before {
    content: url("data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAACAAAAAgCAYAAABzenr0AAAB5ElEQVR42s2XvU7DMBDHbYkJJiQ6MPECdGoEL4BAjEg8QBlIB2b6DsDMQBngAZAYEREvAEqn8gQMMMAKC0jhXOeM45xjJ00a/tKlqdze/Xz+OnNWRmG8Ds9dsC2wLlgnbXkHm4A9gN2xUfDs65J7BF2E5xHYaSlYxoZg5wDzVR0gjPvwvCoZ2NQBQFyXA5C9vgXbnjE4KgLbo7KRBwjjFS\

    visibility: visible !important;
    }
  • Waterfox
    Aha! That worked! had to change display:none to opacity: 0 'cause it's actually a link. I've been trying something close to it but didn't figure to use a bg image for the whole panel.
    Thank you very much!!

  • edited August 2017 Waterfox
    You can also try my second example above with same results, but won't need to set opacity. Keep in mind that height and width will have no effect on an svg image.
  • Waterfox
    Yes, the second one works too, needs margin. Thanks a lot!
    I now stuck on loading spinner (when you reload a page). They use some new code and i can't find it. .maestro-loading-spinner-wrapper is all i can catch on hover with Attributes Inspector CB but DOMi doesn't open on that element and i can't find it in any file. Using it as is with my image replacement code simply hides it. Looks like there's something else, like img, or span, or something. I gave up, it doesn't show and i'm fine with that.
  • Waterfox
    Here is what I found on the loading spinner:

    .maestro-loading-spinner-wrapper {
    position: fixed;
    top: 0;
    right: 0;
    bottom: 0;
    left: 0;
    display: flex;
    justify-content: center;
    }

    .maestro-loading-spinner {
    position: absolute;
    top: 33%;
    width: 24px;
    height: 24px;
    background-image: url('https://cfl.dropboxstatic.com/static/images/icons/ajax-loading-small-blue@2x-vfl14X6Ll.gif');
    background-size: 24px 24px;
    /* So the center of the image is used to center the element. */
    transform: translate(-50%, -50%);
    }
