No current selected article highlighting

About: Google Reader Absolutely Compact
edited December 2008 in Style Reviews
I really like it but it is unusable for one small but very important reason. In headline mode it does not highlight the currently selected article. I ONLY use keyboard shortcuts in GReader so I'm familiar with that. But, I don't read every article and cannot distinguish which my "cursor" is currently resting upon.

I'll give you a 5 if you can fix this one thing because otherwise I love how you've compacted things.

  • I have added highlighting for the current entry in list view and updated the style.

    Thanks for your feedback.
  • Perfect 5.

    Thanks for posting the original and making requested changes.
  • current entry highlighting in list view is gone again.

    I just updated to the latest version (2009-11-12) and also Firefox 3.5.6 so I don't know which caused the change.

    Any clue how to get the highlighting back?

    Thanks.
  • This works well enough:

    #entries.list #current-entry .collapsed {
    color: black !important;
    background-color: rgb(0%, 50%, 80%) !important;
    border-width: 0 !important;

    }
  • I took out the background highlighting and just let the Greader default border highlighting do its thing. It works for me (using FF 3.5.6), so I'm not sure why it isn't working for you. Anyway, glad to see you found a solution.
