    Hover and active already in the code above, it works here. However, if you mean highlight color, that's another matter. It can be changed but will change all highlighting, not just in the address bar but text too.
    Here's the code with a bit for the search engine you probably need as well:

    @namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);

    #urlbar, #page-proxy-stack, #identity-box, .searchbar-textbox, #searchbar textbox button, .searchbar-engine-button
    { -moz-appearance: none !important;
    background-image: none !important;
    background: transparent !important;
    border: none !important;
    text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px white !important; }

    #urlbar:hover, #urlbar:active, #searchbar textbox:hover, #searchbar textbox:focus, #searchbar textbox:active
    { background: white !important;
    color: black !important; }

    #searchbar textbox button, .searchbar-engine-image
    { -moz-appearance: none !important;
    border: none !important;
    -moz-box-shadow: none !important;
    background: none !important; }
  • oh THANK YOU!
    the address bar shuld be active when i'm clicking on it... not hover...

    (im srry for my bad english! i'm swe)
  • Just delete this part: #urlbar:hover,

    You're welcome! Smile
  • the address bar must stay active until i click enywhere else...

    bad english xD xD

    Just click 'Show code' on my style page ( here or here )and copy portions that relate to those icons. Or install it and delete portions you don't want. You can also search for transparent url bar styles and see what you can use.
    Be brave, experiment! If i'll keep giving ready code, you'll never learn and will keep asking for help Wink
